After its recent opening in Miami, TATEL continues its global expansion by landing on the island of Ibiza in April, this month. Located on the frontline of the Playa D’En Bossa, with a privileged location between Ushuaïa and Hard Rock Hotel.
With an over 300 person capacity, a beach terrace, live music with Ushuaïa’s seal of approval, traditional Spanish cuisine and exclusive and forward thinking cocktails on offer, TATEL Ibiza will be placed firmly on the map for the island’s most discerning clientele.
With this new opening, MABEL MANAGEMENT (the Hospitality Management company for TATEL and USHUAÏA, belonging to the MABEL CAPITAL group) continues onward with its ambitious project for global expansion under the guidance of its General Manager, Santiago Rodriguez and Gabriele Zinetti, Head of Operations, furthering its reach throughout Spain, Europe and the United States.
Oozing eclectic charm and the lively buzz of a Spanish restaurant, TATEL opens its doors this month in Ibiza boasting a strategic location in Playa D’En Bossa, between Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, two of the most lively and acclaimed establishments with the island’s fashionista crowd. Only open initially in the evenings and night from 19:00 till 3:00, TATEL Ibiza will be one of the island’s hotspots with live music, the best international DJs and a beach terrace with room for more than 100 diners offering traditional Spanish cuisine.
TATEL Madrid’s menu is transported to Ibiza with a fresher touch under the expertise of Nacho Chicharro, Head Chef at TATEL Madrid, maintaining the brand’s trademarks: upmost respect for the produce, updated traditional recipes, Spanish gastronomy adapted to seasonal markets and fresh seafood as the mainstay. Essential dishes from Madrid such as the Truffle Stuffed Tortilla and the TATEL Escalope, will be served right on the beachfront next to other more summertime offerings of fresh Mediterranean fish, a variety of rice dishes, cold soups, oysters and caviar. In order to complete the gastronomic experience, TATEL boasts an outstanding wine cellar and a wine menu inspired by Spain but which embraces the world with several international recommendations.
TATEL Ibiza has the atmosphere of a speakeasy club with 1920s glamour, live music and beachfront terraces. The restaurant exudes its own personality, the work of Italian design firm, ILMIODESIGN, which maintains the aesthetic identity of TATEL Madrid. The expertise of Michele Corbani and Andrea Spada has resulted in a dynamic and elegant space, which communicates with its surroundings through marine tones and the architectural touches and materials used in which metals, marble and stone are fused with walnut wood and patterned glass.
With its privileged location, an area of 1,400m2 and capacity for over 300 people, TATEL Ibiza is made up of distinct interlinked areas. The experience begins on the large terrace with Mediterranean sea views, followed by entering the hall and discovering the spaces that unfold in the gallery. The venue also has a large private area, ideal for more VIP events. All of this without forgetting the iconic DJ booth made out of copper. The perfect space to enjoy sunset with full entertainment provided by USHUAÏA IBIZA, with live performances from singers, percussionists and DJs.

According to its founders, entrepreneurs Abel Matutes Prats and Manuel Campos Guallar, TATEL Ibiza brings to the island its vision of showcasing traditional Spanish gastronomy and culture, both for its national clientele and international visitors who arrive in the summer. In addition to the aforementioned partners, the project also features three other founding members who represent the Spanish brand around the world: the international music icon, Enrique Iglesias and two of the best sportsmen in Spanish history, Rafa Nadal and Pau Gasol. Three partners who in turn are major international ambassadors for Spain and who have embraced the project with their strong commitment to their home country, propelling TATEL into becoming a model of Spanish culture, gastronomy and lifestyle around the world. A roadmap, which counts on the support of some of the most important advocates, experts and connoisseurs in the world of entertainment, sport and shows at an international level.
To consolidate its international expansion, Abel Matutes Jr. and Manuel Campos Gaullar, continue broadening the team at MABEL MANAGEMENT incorporating Santiago Rodriguez (of NOBU and Mr. Chow) as General Manager, Gabriele Zinetti as Operations Manager and Carlos Bermudez as Project Manager, to lead the expansion of the group’s different brands throughout Spain, Europe and the U.S.
