“Kurt Cobain: Montage of heck” aims to be the first complete picture of the famed rock music icon, Kurt Cobain, seen as never before in this documentary film about Nirvana’s band leader, which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.

It claims to be the first documentary about Kurt Cobain made with the cooperation of his family. The director Brett Morgen mixes Cobain’s music, personal archives and home movies with interviews with his family and closest friends. We guarantee that even fans of the grunge generation will learn new things about Kurt they had never heard before. It’s a tornado trip through the life and mind of the musician, from his early years in Washington through the height of his fame.

“Montage of Heck” takes its name after a musical collage created by Cobain in 1988 with a cassette recorder.

HBO will premiere it on television on May 4, 2015… Can’t wait to see it!!
