Cova de Can Marca Caves, San Miguel
Originally discovered by smugglers who first used it to hide their contraband , this cave is illuminated in strange colours . The formations of stalagmites and stalactites make a weird backdrop to a tour of the cavernous galleries.

Ses Fontanelles Cave Paintings
Also called Cova del Vi (Wine Cave) because it was used to store wine, this cave stands out because of the beautiful views over Cala Salada, San Antonio bay and the western islets of Ibiza.
They were discovered by Abbot H. Breuil in 1917, and they were probably made during the Punic period (4th-6th centuries BC). Today, they are duly protected, and synthetic resin replicas of the originals have been made in the inside. They are perfectly visible from the outside.
