CHILDREN OF THE 80’S COLLECTS MORE THAN 3,700 KG OF FOOD FOR THE BENEFIT OF FOOD FOR IBIZA
On September 21 Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, fulfilled its charitable objective in its special session Children of the 80’s by the popular eurodance band Corona.
The charity initiative has achieved a new record, accumulating a total of 3,717 kilograms of non-perishable food, 37.67% more than last year, when 2,700 kilograms of food were reached. To this must be added the 4,303 euros collected in economic donations. The person who delivered the most food (242 kilograms) was rewarded with a two-night stay at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.
All the food collected and donations will be given to Food for Ibiza, a non-profit association formed by residents of Ibiza and Formentera, which helps people with financial difficulties to cover their food needs and those of their family.
The attendees of the special edition of the ‘Children of the 80s’ event enjoyed the best songs from the famous Italian group Corona in a unique environment, which included the participation of the well-known DJs from Dream3Team Reload and La Movida.
