What to pack for Ibiza
Ibiza is a paradise in the middle of the Mediterranean. Impressive beaches with turquoise waters, entire villages that resist the passage of time while maintaining all their authentic and proper character. If you are lucky enough to come on holidays to this small island in this post you will find the definitive list of what you have to pack.
Suitcase or backpack?
One of the biggest questions is whether to bring a suitcase with all the “just in case” in order to be prepared for every occasion or just a bag with the essential stuff. We recommend you to avoid the suitcase and come with a backpack or small bag with a long strap, so you can also use it to carry everything you need when you make excursions to distant beaches.
Flip flops or shoes?
There is no doubt, good flip flops are a mandatory element if you decide to come to Ibiza, they will accompany you for most of the day, at the pool, on the beach and even at the beach restaurants. But keep in mind that, if during your holidays you plan to go out for a party in the most fashionable clubs in Ibiza, you should bring some shoes so that your experience does not turn into a nightmare.
It is easy to fatten our luggage with tons of clothes designed for each occasion, a tip that we give you is that you create a set of clothes that will serve you for each day depending on your plans. Take in mind that the weather on the island is generally warm so avoid bringing warm clothes.
For night clubs, the best options are shorts, shirts, cocktail dresses, skirts … in general clothes that are comfortable and pleasant.
For the beach, the best choice is a swimsuit and a light T-shirt or a short dress.
Some essential elements such as sunscreen, after-sun, bath gels, shampoos, etc. It is better to buy them directly in the different supermarkets of the island since you will avoid having them removed at the airport controls (in case they exceed 100ml) and, above all, an unnecessary weight in your luggage.
